Mears Engineers is locally owned and family operated, licensed in Oklahoma under Certificate of Authorization 8535. We work for communities that need an engineer who answers the phone and knows the system before the emergency.
We value a knowledge based, expert driven approach to complicated infrastructure problems, and an atmosphere of fellowship and mentorship that makes people better at the work than when they arrived.
The firm's founding belief is plain enough: I do not necessarily need to be an expert in all fields. I just need to know enough to hire the right experts.

Aaron Mears, P.E.
President
A third generation engineer, licensed in Oklahoma as Professional Engineer number 26544. Aaron spent most of his career at large engineering firms before starting Mears Engineers on the view that the work could be done more directly and more usefully at a smaller scale.
He serves as district, city or town engineer for communities across the state, and his project experience runs from rural lagoon rehabilitation to civil design on Oklahoma City's Project 180.

Melissa oversees the firm's business operations, contracting and financial administration.

Mike manages municipal water, wastewater and civil site projects from preliminary design through construction closeout.
